Master in Management (with and without thesis)

Overview

The ever-complex nature of business environment makes it necessary for people with diverse backgrounds to be unified around the same organizational goal. Hence, there is a need for individuals who can understand all the functions in a business and take responsibility in various departments or as a manager. The main purpose of this program is to equip students coming from various disciplines with the methods, techniques and academic knowledge that help to cover businesses with this holistic approach.

Graduate programs in Management within the Graduate School of Arts and Social Sciences exist for more than thirty years. The master program admits students who are expected to learn and do research in various fields of business management such as sales and marketing, accounting and finance, management and organization, production, project management, quantitative tools, technology and law.

While the program without thesis mostly targets people who seek professional career, the program with thesis is more suitable to people who would like to handle business problems with an academic perspective and do research.

Goal
The main goal of the program is to endow students with theoretical and applied knowledge about the major disciplines of business management. Hence, students with different academic backgrounds (such as engineering, economics or social sciences) will acquire managerial skills that help them assume responsibility during planning, organization, management and controlling or create their own business.

Graduates’ Job Opportunities
Graduates have the opportunity to work in many different fields. The program has a structure that emphasizes entrepreneurship and top management regardless of any area. In addition, the program with thesis is designed for those who seek academic career or researcher positions.
